  • Alcoholic beverages are not recommended prior to any massage or facial.  Feel free to enjoy a glass of wine afterward.

  • Sauna and Steam Rooms may be used before or after a massage depending on type of massage and time of appointment:

    - For Hot Stone or Mu-Xing, enjoy the sauna & steam room prior to the massage - never afterward

    - For Cupping: DO NOT use the sauna & steam room prior or after your service.  Avoid hot showers within 24 hours of service and drink extra amounts of water.

    - Sauna & Steam Rooms may be used pre-or post all other massage modalities

    - Benefits of using prior include warming up the muscles to prep the body for the massage

    - Benefits of using after a massage include increased detoxification
    -

  • Hydrate with water after every massage

  • Deep Tissue Massage: Ice compresses are recommended if any soreness is present

  • Sport Massage: Stretching is part of the modality; therefore, make sure you wear comfortable clothing (yoga shorts, etc.)

  • White Oak Lavender recommended for sore muscles
